What is Pilates?

Pilates is a system of exercises using special apparatus.

Thus, it’s designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture, and enhance mental awareness.

Origin of Pilates

It originated in the 1960’s.

Joseph H. Pilates (1880-1967) is the inventor of Pilates and the one who devised the system.

Later, named after him.

He was a German physical fitness specialist.

Contrology” is the name he called for his method. Wherein, it involves the muscle control.
